Little girls instinctively will begin spinning about while they are wearing a full skirt or dress. In this piece I desired to capture the whimsical expression of
childlike freedom that twirling ignites. Some of the pieces of found paper I used within this child's skirt, of blue skies, jelly beans and pastel flowers were
chosen to exemplify the emotion of the moment.
